I'm originally from Mexico City, but grew up in San Diego. After graduating from SDSU, I  began my career in mortgage finance. I've been a loan processor, a program specialist, a pre-underwriter, and a loan officer assistant. My work in every phase of the home loan and purchase process has given me the experience and tools needed to help home buyers. These practices  created an influx of unqualified buyers who  flooded the market, causing a superficial  rise & an even faster fall  in home values. 

While in the recent boom,  historically low interest rates opened the  window of opportunity to home-ownership for many Americans. This more recent influx contributed to an inventory shortage, and home values surged.

It is important to understand that  in the recent boom, home buyers QUALIFIED for their loans, and these buyers are not walking away anytime soon!
